Bryan D. Kendall was killed in the collapse at his farm, Villa Dale Farm located at 901 Mount Pleasant Road in South Annville Township, according to Lebanon County Department of Emergency Services and as identified in a GoFundMe launched to help his wife and sons.

The call to LCDES about the collapse came in around 11:30 a.m. on April 27, as Daily Voice initially reported.

Search and rescue efforts soon began for a man (later identified as Bryan) trapped in the debris.

Bryan had lived on the farm for approximately 21 years and began farming what was once his grandfather's land when he graduated high school in 2011, according to social media and Lancaster Farming. In 2017 he moved his cows and dairy equipment to the farm and has been building the property up as a local seasonal destination.

On the GoFundMe Landon Allebach launched, he wrote the following about Bryan, reading in part:

"His life was rooted in the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Bryan put no faith in his own good works but rather put his faith in the payment Jesus made for his sins on the cross. His life was a testament to that faith and the love he had for the Lord. Because of that, we can rejoice through the grief that Bryan is with his Savior in heaven."

He is survived by his wife, Alyssa; their two young sons, and extended family.
